Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the IT Manager, the IT Specialist provides a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services and helpdesk services. Provides general day to day support as well as facilitate any department adjustments. Will handle day to day employee support and various projects, as needed. An example of a “project” would be migration to Windows 10 or roll out of new security measures. The ability to keep a day to day priority list is key in this type of environment.
Essential Functions:
- Configure all hardware needed for users of Cell phones, Laptops, Hotspots, and Tablets
- Configure/support accounts for users of Verizon needs, Viewpoint/Vista, SHI needs, Active Directory, File share, Bid2Win, and Okta (MFA)
- Support any day to day issues including but not limited to: Browsers, Email client, 3rd party software/hardware/websites, Cell phones, Laptops, Operating systems, Mapped drives, Printer
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Education and/ or Work Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college business/technical courses (helpful but not required)

- Strong organizational and document management skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiple priorities
- Professional demeanor; remain calm and emotionally controlled under pressure
- Detailed oriented and high attention to accuracy
- Solid mathematical skills
- Comfortable with working in a non-traditional office environment
- Demonstrated written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office use and repair proficiency
